GTUK Instructor nominated for national award

Mr Auciello needs your votes for a chance to win national award.



The nominees for the prestigious What's On 4 2014 Junior Awards in association with Drayton Manor have just been announced - and the GTUKs Mr Richard Auciello is amongst them!




This exciting awards programme, which is once again supported by babyworld.co.uk & Glam Media, is now in its eighth year and celebrates the best activities, classes, people and places throughout the country as nominated and voted for by the experts - parents, carers and parents-to-be.

6th Degree Black Belt Mr Auciello, Head Coach of the England Squad, and Senior Instructor at Stamford & Oakham is a nominee in the Most Outstanding Activity leader for children aged 5-12 category. He was nominated by the parents at Stamford & Oakham GTUK clubs, and now is through to the last 16 nationally!


Mr Auciello, said: "I am completely humbled to have even been nominated, yet alone get through to the voting stages, and the final 16. This is an enormous honour, as it is those whom I teach that have recognised me, however I am nothing without my students; and it is the dedication, effort and successes of all of those that should be recognised too! It would be amazing  to be able to get through to the final and give the TaeKwon Do, the GTUK and Stamford & Oakham national recognition! I am in a fortunate position where I can pass on knowledge for something that is my passion to help improve others’ lives; I am a very lucky man. Thank you all."

Each and every children's activity, party venue, entertainer and volunteer from throughout the country had the opportunity to be nominated and the number this year reflects the support from the nations' parents for these exciting awards and their eagerness to reward the very best



The winners will be announced at the live award ceremony on Friday 20th June - you have until 15th May to vote. Everyone who votes or nominates will also be in with a chance to win 2 VIP tickets to the awards ceremony, meet the finalists, sponsors and VIP guests.

Richard Auciello from Stamford & Oakham TaeKwon-Do is a nominee in the Most Outstanding Activity leader for children aged 5-12 category which means they have received at least FOUR nominations and will now go through to the national voting stage!



 



'Great achievement'



 



This year, the awards are bigger than ever, covering 22 different categories ranging from Best Pre/ Post Natal Activity to Best After School Club. For the 2nd year in a row the awards are taking place across the globe - in Australia, Ireland and the UK - and there's been a 30% increase in the number of nominees so to get this far is a great achievement!



 



Stamford & Oakham TaeKwon-Do has been running in the area for over 16 years, and still has some of its original students training. The club prides itself on its high level of instruction, proven by the high success of its students, as well as maintaining its family friendly values of ensuring that the interests of each individual student is the priority.



 



Mr Richard Auciello, 6th Degree Black Belt, two time World Champion and current Head Coach of GTUK England Squad works to try to make his clubs, two of the very best Martial arts clubs in the area. With over 25 years of TaeKwon-Do experience, he strives to better the students’ lives; be it physical or mental strengthening, each individuals improvement is his primary goal.

Mr Auciello has TaeKwon-Do written through his core, and is like a living breathing TaeKwon-Do Wikipedia of information. If he does not know the answer - he will know exactly where to find it.....

From 12th March to 15th May 2014, parents can log onto any of the award winning on-line directories - www.whatson4littleones.co.uk, www.whatson4schoolkids.co.uk and www.whatson4kidsparties.co.uk to vote for their favourites from all of the nominees which have qualified.



 



The winners will be announced at the live award ceremony on Friday 20th June. During the champagne ceremony the winners of the community awards will also receive special prizes for their groups. Everyone who votes or nominates will also be in with a chance to win 2 VIP tickets to the awards ceremony, meet the finalists, sponsors and VIP guests.
