 BLACK BELT GRADING - new venue!

The school is only 5 minutes drive off junction 13 of the M60 so it is very easy to get to

There are plenty of things for parents to do whilst they are waiting for their children…

The Trafford Shopping Centre is about 10 minutes drive away coming off the M60 at junction 9 will take you straight into the car parks (http://www.traffordcentre.co.uk/)

 

The Chill Factor is one of the biggest indoor ski centre's in Europe and well worth a visit if you enjoy Skiing, Snowboarding or Rock Climbing. You will need to book a time slot if you are interested though (http://www.chillfactore.com/main/Home)

 

The newest craze in Manchester is Sky Diving in a Wind Tunnel. Again if you would like to do this then please book in advance  (http://www.airkix.com/manchester/default.asp)

 

If you like playing Golf then why not try out the two floor golf range (http://www.manchestergolf.co.uk/)

 

The golf, skydiving and skiing are all opposite the Trafford Centre. If you would like to visit any of these then come of Junction 10 of the M60.

 

If you would just like a more relaxing time then there is a canal and woods that you can walk around in Worsley, where the grading venue is, as well as some nice bars and restaurants that you can go to (http://www.bolton.org.uk/worsley.html)

THE NEW A’ APPLICATION FORM MUST BE DOWNLOADED FROM OUR WEB SITE, OLD FORMS

WILL NOT BE EXCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

 

INFORMATION:

All application forms must be with the administration at least one week (28th of Feb) in advance of the test date, for approval. After this deadline date applications will be rejected. This is to ensure certificates can be presented on the day

 

Over 17yrs *Photo copies* of A’& B’ course certs / Umpire course certs / Seminar certs

Jee-Goo attendance cards must be attached to black belt application form “A”

 

Clarification of the above will be checked against the association database

 

A black belt certificate will not be presented on the day to any adult (over 17yrs) who passes the test who has not proved they have attended both “A & B” instructor courses. At a later date upon attending the next “A & B” courses their black belt certificate will be presented on that day

 

INSTRUCTORS make sure that all applicants photo copy their insurance licence card & attach it to their black belt application form “A” Applicants will not be taking the test without this proof of insurance. Write “absent at last test” or “retest” at the bottom of application forms if this is relevant 

 

Application for 1st degree test fill in forms A / B Juniors & Seniors. Bring thesis on the day

Application for senior 2nd & 3rd deg test fill in forms A / C, form C’ must fill criteria to take test       

Application for junior / pee-wee star test’s fill in form A

Application for half - degree tests fill in forms A & C, form C’ need not fill criteria to take test

 

Payments on the day;

 

All applicants please bring correct fee in an envelope no passport photo’s required

National Certificate: Under 17 yrs old for 1st Deg - £45.00 /  

Star Certification: Under 17 years old - £30.00 (Part Payment Towards)

National Certificate: Over 17 yrs old for 1st Deg - £55.00

  

1/half - £65.00 - (First payment)

2nd Deg - £65.00 - (Second payment)

2/half - £78.00 - (First payment)

3rd Deg - £78.00  - (Second payment)

3/half - £105 - (First payment)

 
First re-test through failure is “free of charge”
 

Pee-Wee & Junior star grades take place each year that follows either a 1st or 2nd degree tests

(Full details on star grades have been previously sent to all instructors)

 

An association embroider black belt plus lapel pin will be presented on the day to all successful applicants jointly with their black belt certificate

 

Instructors please ensure that all your red - black tags & black belts enter these grading exams. You must represent your students on the day or appoint your assistant instructor to be

present, and ensure your students fulfill all requirements above for this grading examination to save any disappointment, thank you.
