Global Taekwon-Do United Kingdom - GTUK

The GTUK practices the traditional martial art of Taekwon-Do and as such follows the Chang-Hon patterns as created by General Choi. That does not mean to say that we do not enter competitions! We hold two major competitions per year.

A national individual championships and a national team tournament, as well as local competitions and the university championships where university clubs battle it out for the championships shield annually. The association has developed national squad that enters other competitions nationally and internationally allowing our students to compete at the top level.

The GTUK is affiliated to the only government recognised governing body for Taekwon-Do in this country, the British Taekwon-Do Council, (BTC) which provides our members with insurance and also implements a child protection policy.
