Saturday 12th November Miss Ridgard of Redditch Taekwon-do Club hosted the GTUK’s first Ladies Training Day at the Abbey Stadium in Redditch.

With a team consisting of Miss Aikman V Dan, Mrs Collett IV Dan and Miss Ridgard IV Dan, the day went spectacularly well.

With 20 students in attendance, every one of them walked away with smiles on their faces.

The day consisted of games to warm everyone up and get to know each other first.

Then the training began, covering set sparring, self defence, sparring techniques, team patterns, breaking and jumping kicks.

Plenty of questions were asked by the students training, many commented that they had learnt alot and looked forward to another day of training to be organised.

It was a pleasure to see so many ladies and girls training together, making new friends and improving their confidence in different all aspects of Taekwon-do.
